ESTONIA'S YOUTH: OUR FOCUS

One of the driving forces behind CM Games is an unwavering passion for innovation, continuous learning, and skill development. Being ardent supporters of education and knowledge sharing, we enthusiastically support initiatives aimed at disseminating wisdom and supporting professionals, especially at the inception of their careers.

One such endeavor is Spinner, a program designed to empower young individuals aged 16 to 19 from various regions in Estonia to delve into the realms of business and digital technologies. This initiative exposes them to the inner world of startups and IT companies, enabling them to actively engage as participants in the internal work processes for a span of several weeks.

By fostering digital competencies and teamwork, Spinner nurtures the growth of local digital communities, facilitating informed career decisions — after all, having an insider's view of a potential profession significantly eases the path to decision-making.

This summer, CM Games, in partnership with EAS and Startup Estonia, warmly welcomed over 20 participants of the Spinner program who had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the marketing, game design, art, and programming teams.

Under the guidance of mentors, they delved into crafting game prototypes, analyzing diverse gaming market practices, cultivating player communities, incorporating AI tools into their professional routine, generating various artistic elements, and embracing other practices to find their career paths.

This program not only benefited the interns but also our CM Games experts, as it prompted us to communicate our work effectively, engage audiences, and even reevaluate some aspects in response to the interns' queries.

As the program approaches its official conclusion, several significant events are on the horizon: a panel discussion scheduled for September 8 in Narva, featuring Vlad Rannik, CM Games CEO, and a workshop by Mihhail Kohtov, CM Games Head of Art Division, and Serhii Kononenko, Head of Development Division, who will offer insights into creating a game using Blender – from idea inception to Android APK development.

We take immense pride in our involvement in the Spinner initiative and eagerly anticipate future opportunities to share our knowledge and contribute to nurturing the talents of tomorrow.
